AAM PANNA RECIPE




Aam Panna is everyone’s childhood drink,
after a long day of school or playing coming back home to a glass of Aam Panna
was just the happiest thing. So, today let’s make this drink filled with
nostalgia and share those innocent childhood stories with a glass of tasty Aam
Panna.

Ingredients:

       
Raw mango (chopped) – 1

       
Mint leaves – 6-7

       
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

       
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp

       
Black salt – 1 tsp

       
Roasted cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

       
Salt – 1 tsp

       
Sugar – 1 cup

 

Method:

       
Heat a pan, add 1 chopped raw
mango, 1 glass of water, cover it, and boil it for 5 minutes on medium heat.

       
Once the mangoes are soft and
mushy strain them.

       
Now add these boiled mangoes to
a blender jar and add 6-7 mint leaves, ½ tsp cardamom powder, ½ tsp black
pepper powder, 1 tsp black salt, 1 tbsp roasted cumin seeds, 2 tbsp water, 1
tsp salt and blend it until smooth.

       
Take a pan, add 1 cup of sugar,
½ cup of water, and boil until the sugar dissolves and has 1 string
consistency. Add the mango paste to it and mix it well and cook for 5 minutes
and strain the mixture. Let the mixture cool.

       
Take some glasses, apply lemon
to the rim of the glasses and coat them with powdered sugar. Then add some
crushed ice, and half of the glass with the concentrated Aam Panna mixture and
rest with cold water and mix it well. Garnish it with some mint leaves.

The Aam Panna is ready. Serve it chilled
and enjoy the drink.
