DAHI VADA




Yearning for some
yummy snacks to eat? Here is the recipe for yummy Dahi Vada to help you with
your cravings.

Ingredients:

       
Urad Dal –
1 cup

       
Moong Dal –
1 cup

       
Salt – 2
tbsp

       
Curd – 1
cup

       
Tamarind
Chutney

       
Green
Chutney

       
Cumin
powder

       
Asafoetida
– 1 tbsp

       
Chaat
masala

       
Chilli
powder

       
Coriander
leaves

 

Method:

       
Take a
bowl, add 1 cup urad dal, 1 cup moong dal, and wash it well about 3-4 times.
Then, soak them for 7 hours.

       
After 7
hours, once they are soaked properly blend with 2 tbsp of water until it’s a
smooth batter.

       
Transfer
the batter to a bowl and beat it with a fork for 5-6 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of
salt and mix it well.

       
Heat oil in
a wok, drop equal-sized batter in the oil, and fry them on medium heat until
golden brown. Transfer the vada to a plate.

       
Take a
bowl, add 2 glasses of hot water, 1 pinch of asafoetida, 1 tbsp salt, and mix
it well. Soak all the vadas in it for 10 minutes.

       
After 10
minutes, squeeze the water out of the vada and put them on a plate.

       
Strain 1
cup of curd into a bowl.

       
Transfer
the vadas to a serving plate and pour smooth curd over it.

       
Then add
tamarind chutney, green chutney on it.
Sprinkle cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, chilli powder
over it.

       
Garnish it
with fresh coriander.

Super soft and
super delicious Dahi Vada is ready.
