Namak Paare


We all need
something tasty and savoury to enjoy with our evening tea or coffee, and Namak
paare is the perfect snack. So, let’s make these delicious snacks.


All-purpose flour- 2

Carrom seeds – 1 tbsp

Salt – 1 tbsp

Oil – 4 tbsp


Take a bowl, add 2 cups
of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp carrom seeds, 1 tbsp salt, and oil in batches and
mix it well until it’s able to hold shape.

Then, gradually add
water to the mixture, knead it well and make a tight dough.

Let the dough rest for
10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, take
the dough and knead it to smoothen the dough.

Divide the dough into 2
halves, take one part of it and roll it into a ball.

Apply oil on the rolling
pin and roll out the dough. It should neither be thick nor be thin.

Cut it out in any shape
and shift them into a plate.

Do the same with the
other half of the dough.

Heat oil in a pan on
medium heat and fry the Namak pare on low heat until golden brown and crispy.
Fry all the Namak Paare in a similar way.

Now, your crispy and
tasty Namak Paare is ready. Cool them completely and store them in an airtight
container and they will last up to 2-3 months.
