Pizza Spinach Uttapam Recipe


Craving to have
pizzas and also want to eat healthy? Then here is the recipe for all the
health-conscious pizza lovers. And the perfect recipe for parents to make their
children eat their greens.

Pizza Spinach
Uttapam is the perfect blend of taste and health.


Sooji or Semolina – 1

Curd- ½ cup

Spinach Purée – ½ cup

Salt – according to

Chat masala – for

Baking Soda – a pinch

Cauliflower– finely

Beans – finely chopped

Capsicum– finely

Broccoli – finely chopped

Onion– finely chopped

Carrots – grated

Peas – boiled

Corn – Semi boiled

Cheese Sauce – 1 cup


Red chilli flakes

Oil – 2 tbsp

Paneer – grated 



Take a bowl and add a
cup of sooji and ½ cup of curd to it and mix it with a fork. Add ½ cup of water
to it since the batter will be dry and mix it well.

*Make sure there
are no lumps in the batter.

Add ½ cup of spinach
purée, salt (quantity according to your taste), some chat masala for flavour to
the batter and mix it well.

some cold water and blend it well.)

Now keep the batter
aside for 5- 10 minutes for it rest and set well.

Take another bowl and
add the vegetables (like finely chopped beans, cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum,
onion, corn, peas, carrots etc. or you can add the vegetables you prefer),
cheese sauce, some oregano, salt, and red chilli flakes and mix it well.

can also use mayonnaise or mozzarella cheese as an alternative for the cheese

 Now take the batter and add some water to it
(as the batter is thick after resting) and mix it well until the right

the batter because thick while making the Uttapam add some water to it.

Then, add a pinch of
baking soda and mix it well. And now the batter is ready.

soda is added to the batter so that the Uttapam is fluffy and nice.

Take a pan and heat
it, once it is hot, add some oil to it and spread it all over the pan with the
help of a brush, then and add the batter on the pan and spread it out in an
even layer (make sure the Uttapam is not too thick). Then add vegetable mixture
on it and press it, and then add some oregano and grate some paneer on it (you
use mozzarella cheese as well.)

Add a little more oil and
cook the Uttapam on both sides until golden brown.

Once it is cooked, cut
the Uttapam into 2 halves and serve it with tomato sauce or green chutney.
