Sago Khichdi Recipe | Navratri Vrat Special



INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP SOAKED SAGO/SABUDANA(OVERNIGHT OR 4-5 HRS)
2-3 GREEN CHILLIES (CHOPPED)
1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
ROCK SALT (AS PER TASTE)
PEANUTS – 1 TBSP
LEMON JUICE – 1 TBSP
SOME FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES (CHOPPED)

METHOD:

* Take a Non-Stick pan.Add 1 tbsp Ghee /Refined Oil
* When Ghee is hot, Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds.
*When cumin seeds splutter, Add 2 -3 Green Chillies ( Chopped ).
* Add 1 tbsp Peanuts & Roast it for a minute
* Add 4 Boiled & Diced Potatoes.Stir it.
* Add 1 Cup Sabudana /Sago ( Soaked Overnight )
* Mix it with a fork.Add Sabudana in it.
* Add 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
* Add Rock Salt ( As per taste)
* Mix it well.Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
* After 5 mins,Stir it again.
* Sago/Sabudana is transparent now.
* Add 1 tbsp Lemon Juice & Some Fresh Coriander Leaves
* Give it a FINAL MIX.
* SAGO/SABUDANA KHICHDI IS READY

SERVE IT & GARNISH WITH SOME FRESH
CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
