Tempered Rice



Ingredients : 

 Cooked rice – 1 cup 
 Beaten curd – 1 tbsp 
 Chopped tomato – 1 medium 
 Chopped onion – 1 medium 
 Chopped green chilly – 1 tsp 
 Ginger- garlic paste – 1 tsp 
 Coriander powder – ½ tsp 
 Turmeric powder – ½ tsp 
 Cumin seeds – ½ tsp 
 Mustard seeds – ½ tsp 
 Cooking oil – 1 tsp 
 Salt to taste 
 Coriander leaves to garnish 

Method : 


 Heat oil in a pan. 
 Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them crackle. 
 Add the onions and sauté them till light brown. 
 Add tomatoes and chilies and sauté for a minute. 
 Add ginger – garlic paste and stir for a minute. 
 Now add the curd, rice and spices and mix properly on medium flame for 2 – 3 minutes. 
 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
